Design Expo 2013 is set to be the bigger and better than ever!
2012-11-14 14:37:27The Expo presented USA-based interiors technology manufacturers, vendors and service providers with their first-ever opportunity on home soil to showcase themselves within a truly dedicated business-to-business environment – a platform that exhibitors grasped with both hands.
From the outset, major potential returns in business were being realised: “The show absolutely paid for itself within the first hour of opening,” enthused Ken Rodger, director, Sales & Marketing, Advanced Materials Group, American Acoustical Products. “It was a wonderful showcase for us to introduce our brand-new products to existing and new customers,” he reported.
Railway & Mass Transit Interiors Technology/Design Expo attracted almost 1,000 attendees from across the mass-transit interiors technologies and solutions purchasing sector. Among them were passenger vehicle OEMs, operators (both public and private sector) and industrial designers, all of whom turned out in strong numbers.
“The quality of visitors was exactly right,” added Marc J. Gagne, associate vice president, Business Development at TDG Transit Design Group. “These are the people we would travel to see and here in Boston they were brought to us – it was quite simply a great show for our company!”
“As the show organizer, we are thrilled with the overwhelming response we
received in Boston,” concluded David Stradling, sales and marketing director,
for the rail and mass-transit division of UKIP Media & Events. “The feedback
we had to the show from exhibitors, speakers and visitors was extremely
positive and encouraging,” he said.
