      The integrated tests for Datong – Xi’an High-speed Railway successfully concluded on August 10. The 710-day tests involved 80 tests of ten categories, and aggregately test trains ran a total of 16,000 trips, covering a distance of 1 million kilometers.

  In 2013, CHINA RAILWAY initiated the preparation for the integrated tests for Datong – Xi’an High-speed Railway, and established the integrated test environment along Yuanpingxi-Yangquxi Section of the Railway. On August 31, 2015, the integrated tests for Datong – Xi’an High-speed Railway were started. The tests focused on the requirements for independent development of key equipment such as the Chinese Standard EMUs, high-speed railway earthquake early warning system and automatic train control system, based themselves on scientific principles of positive research, design and manufacturing, covered a wide range of fields such as EMU equipment, track maintenance works, communication & signaling, traction power supply, vibration & noise and disaster monitoring, and produced a series of fruitful results: "Fuxing", the Chinese Standard EMUs, have been put into and verified in the operation of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, independent train control system has been accepted in the tests on basic functions, and the high-speed railway earthquake early warning system has passed one-year trial operation.
