The Metro Line 2 in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, officially opened to traffic on Aug 30, bringing much convenience to residents living along the line.
Extending a distance of 20.5 kilometers, Line 2 has 18 stations through Dongfang Square Station, Jilin Road, Jiafang Road, Jingyang Road, and Shuangfeng Station.
The stations along Line 2 are well-decorated and equipped with modern intelligent devices and accessibility facilities. Seats on the trains have heating functionality, and will start heating automatically during the winter.
