A railway staff member carries a plastic express delivery box to a high-speed Fuxing bullet train in November 2017. A high-speed railway express delivery service has been launched on Fuxing trains between Beijing and Shanghai. Parcels should be delivered within 10 hours.

Hundreds of high-speed trains across China are being used to ship packages purchased during the 'Double 11' Singles' Day shopping spree.

Among them is the Fuxing bullet train G83, which carried around 2,000 parcels from Beijing to Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province on Saturday.

The fastest of China's high-speed rail, Fuxing trains can reach speeds of 400 kilometers an hour and can make the journey in less than six hours.

The trip marked the first time a Fuxing train was used for courier logistics, Pear Video reported.

Video shows railway employees loading up the train's seatless carriages with blue plastic containers.

Through November 20, around 400 high-speed train carriers will help courier services fill demand for Singles' Day delivery logistics between 58 cities in China.

Bullet trains between Beijing and Shanghai and Beijing and Chengdu, capital city of Southwest China's Sichuan Province, will also offer cold-chain delivery.
