The "Lijiang" Shanghai-Kunming Cultural Tourism Train is filled with depictions of natural and cultural landscapes from the Lijiang area, including the Old Town of Lijiang, Yulong Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake and Laojun Mountain.

A promotional film about Lijiang is played on the train, and train attendants wearing Naxi costumes greet passengers with smiles.

The Shanghai-Kunming Cultural Tourism Train serves as an innovative marketing strategy for Lijiang to attract more tourists.

Starting from Kunming South Railway Station and passing through six cities including Kunming, Guiyang, Changsha, Nanchang, Hangzhou and Shanghai, the route is 2,252 kilometers long and the journey takes 12 hours 19 minutes (one-way).
