Changchun Railway Station in Changchun, capital of Northeast China’s Jilin province, handled a total of 7.44 million passengers during the summer travel rush, which ran from July 1 to Aug 31.

That’s according to statistics released by the station.

The station handled around 120,000 passengers daily on average, officials said.

On Aug 9 it reported the most travelers – 134,000 passengers – and on July 3 reported the fewest at 99,000 passengers.
