A delegation from China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) visited Wuxi in eastern Jiangsu province on Sept 19, aiming to deepen cooperation between both sides.

Wuxi Party Secretary Li Xiaomin and other top officials welcomed the delegation led by Sun Yongcai, general manager of CRRC.

CRRC is the world's largest supplier of rail transit equipment with the most complete product lines and leading technologies.

It has provided vehicles and vehicle traction systems, vehicle shock absorbers, general equipment, signal systems and other products and services for Wuxi metro construction in the past ten years.

CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co has also invested in Wuxi to establish various firms -- to develop new energy, new materials and intelligent manufacturing.

During the meeting, Li Xiaomin expressed his gratitude to the company for its long support for Wuxi's traffic construction and the city's development.

He added that CRRC has been a great partner, supporting the construction of the rail transit system over the past decade.

Wuxi plans to continue the development of its rail transit system in the next 10 years, which needs more support and cooperation from CRRC, Li said.

Li also hoped the two sides could have more industrial cooperation on intelligent manufacturing and production of automobile parts and components.

Sun Yongcai said CRRC planned to expand its investment in the city, as it was bullish about Wuxi's economic and technological development. The company plans to build an industrial auto industry chain in Wuxi to promote the city's economic development.
