On January 16, at Xi'anbei Station, the smart robot Xinxin worked conscientiously to automatically identify and answer questions posed by passengers with voice. This marks one of the latest hi-tech move taken by Xi'an Railway Administration (XRA) to improve service quality during Spring Festival Transport Season.

  Xinxin’s server database stores a large quantity of railway information and related business data, including guide to high-speed railway stations within the administration of XRA, basic information, train schedule, train stops, train departure and arrival information, train numbers, in-station service inquiries, among others. The robot also offers travel-related weather, flights and other information. In addition to voice consulting, it has an LCD touch screen for passengers to check train waiting and boarding information.
