HollySys, a Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area-based company, is to develop a comprehensive urban rail transit monitoring system based on the network-level converged cloud platform for Hohhot metro projects, according to a recently-signed contract.

As one of the largest infrastructure projects in Hohhot, the Metro Line 1 and Line 2 projects are also the first rail transit construction projects in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Hollsys will integrate next-generation information technologies such as Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, data mining, and Internet Plus to realize intelligent integrated monitoring, big data analysis, and rapid linkage and emergency response between systems. It will also include an equipment monitoring system, an automatic ticket checking system, a passenger information system, an access control system, an official telephone system, and a communication centralized warning system.
