On 28th December 2009, the Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric Group (TEG), a Chinese leader in research & development, design and manufacturing of mass transit electric drive converter and control systems, was awarded International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) certification by the TÜV Rheinland Group. TEG is the only company in China to have received IRIS certification in the fields of electric drive converters, auxiliary and control systems, and railway transport signalling. Such certification marks a new step in quality management for TEG, as the company gears up to deliver state-of-the-art products and lays a solid foundation from which to penetrate high-end markets.

    2009年12月28日，我国轨道交通车辆牵引传动及控制系统研发制造的领军企业--株洲南车时代电气股份有限公司成功获得由国际知名独立第三方认证机构德国莱茵TÜV集团颁发的IRIS 01版证书，成为目前国内唯一一家获得IRIS证书同时跨越轨道交通车辆牵引、辅助和控制系统，以及轨道交通信号系统等领域的企业。这标志着时代电气的质量管理体系已提升至一个新的台阶，进一步与国际先进水平接轨，也为时代电气进入国际铁路高端市场奠定了坚实的基础。

    The IRIS, which was launched by the Union of European Railway Industries (UNIFE) on 19th June 2006, is a globally recognised standard unique to the railway industry and used in the evaluation of business management systems. The IRIS is intended to complement the internationally recognised ISO 9001 quality standard by incorporating the specific requirements of the railway industry, including customer guiding, auditing, project management and RAMS/LCC testing.

    IRIS标准是欧洲铁路联盟（UNIFE）为提高铁路产品供应链的效率和质量，于2006年6月19日而发起建立的一个评估铁路工业供应商的全球性通用系统标准。该标准是ISO9001质量管理体系的延伸，更注重铁路产品研制企业在客户导向、投标管理、项目管理、产品首件检查、RAMS/LCC管理方面的程序化要求，是目前世界上公认的铁路行业指导标准。
